Hire a vehicle by the day
For jobs that run longer than a single trip — site work, a shifting contract, a distributor run. Tell us either how many days you need it or how far the job is, and we work out the rest.

These day rates, km allowances and night charges are rough placeholders for working out the shape of a hire quote. They are not researched market rates and are not quotable — the structure is right, the numbers still need setting. Tolls, permits, parking, loading labour and fuel beyond the allowance are excluded.

How a hire is priced
- Daily hire.
- The standing charge for having the vehicle at all. Includes a fixed kilometre allowance for the day.
- Included kilometres.
- Pooled across the whole hire, not per day — so a quiet day and a long day even out instead of penalising you twice.
- Extra distance.
- Only the kilometres beyond the pooled allowance, at a rate below the one-off trip rate.
- Driver allowance.
- The driver's daily allowance — bata — paid whether the vehicle runs or waits at your site.
- Night charge.
- Per night the vehicle and driver stay away from base. A single-day hire that returns the same evening has none.
